To build HDB's first and largest flexible thin film solar system

Polymeur Sun Singapore is honoured to be awarded a contract to design, build and construct the first flexible thin film solar system (150KWp) for one of the largest developers in the SEA region - Singapore Housing Development Board. Polymeur Sun, is the pioneer in bringing and promoting the flexible thin film solar technology in South East Asia. We will use this opportunity to showcase the potential of this new-age flexible solar technology. This 150Kwp flexible solar system will be installed in several apartment blocks at the Woodlands precinct.

Record Efficiency of 18.7 Percent for Flexible Solar Cells On Plastics, Swiss Researchers Report

Scientists at Empa, the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, have further boosted the energy conversion efficiency of flexible solar cells made of copper indium gallium (di)selenide (also known as CIGS) to a new world record of 18.7 percent -- a significant improvement over the previous record of 17.6 percent achieved by the same team in June 2010.

Crude oil prices jumped on higher 2012 price forecast

Barclays said that oil demand will continue to grow globally, with global demand up by 1.38 million barrels per day in 2012 while non-OPEC demand will rise by 1.57 million barrels per day, with most of that growth in China, India, Saudi Arabia and Brazil.
